Burgundy rubber fig, or ficus elastica, comes in 6.5 inch footed, pale grayish blue ceramic pot. This popular houseplant is known for its large, glossy leaves and easy-care nature. Under the right conditions, this plant can get big! But it is a slow grower.
Provide lots of bright, indirect light and only water when plant is dry several inches down, as ficus is very sensative to overwayering. Can be fertilized during the spring and summer. Be cautious when pruning as the white sap it releases when cut can cause skin irritation and is toxic to pets if ingested.
